There are plenty of tourist attractions to see in Castilla Y León in Spain.

The city of Avila is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to the world’s largest walled medieval city. Segovia is another UNESCO World Heritage site and is famous for its aqueduct which supplied water to the city in Roman times. Salamanca is a beautiful university city which is home to one of the oldest universities in Europe, the University of Salamanca.

You can also visit the lively cities of Valladolid and Burgos, or go hiking and skiing in the Picos de Europa mountains.

Whatever you decide to do, you’re sure to have a great time in this fascinating region of Spain.

The walls of Ávila

The walls of Ávila are among the most interesting and iconic elements of not only Spain but all Europe as well. The walls represent important historical events and a period of time which was crucial for many countries of the continent when the Arabs and the Christians would fight each other for the control and domain over them.
