Koravostasis, or Koravostasi as it is usually called, is the main port in the island of Folegandros. Besides the port, Koravostasi also is a charming small fishing village, and a recommendable stop by to those tourists who visit other near by locations. Natural unchanged beauty is the trademark of this spot and the entire island of Folegandros, turning it into a great destination to all those tourists who are willing to spend a tranquil and relaxed vacation.

The port of Koravostasi connects the island of Foleandros with several other Cycladic destinations. This way, tourists can easily reach Folegandros while being in other islands or go to other destinations while being in this spot. But, despite of this and the fact that Folegandros is a small island, this destination is so beautiful and attractive that often visitors choose to stay and enjoy it as long as possible.

Koravostasi is also near the other two main spots visitors should not miss while being in the island of Folegandros. Among the main nearby islands and villages tourists could access by going on excursions from the port of Koravostasis, we can name, for example, the beautiful beaches of Agios Nikolaos, Angali, or Livadi. These beaches, as well as the ones visitors can find in the island of Filegandros itself, are very beautiful and without any doubt among the main attractions offered by this as well as most other Cycladic destinations.

One of the most recommendable activities not to miss while being in Koravostasis is to walk around, without any hrry, and enjoy the environment and atmosphere of the village paying attention with all the senses. This spot allows visitors to enjoy very attractive images, listen to birds singing and trees slowly shaking by the wind, smell lime perfume combined with pure fresh air, taste a local dish, and when going to the beach, feeling the soft sands and warm blue waters.
