The ancient Gournia

Gournia is an ancient town often called Pompeii of Minoan Crete. The name Pompeii of Minoan Crete was given to this town due to the great preservation state it shows and which causes it to be a very attractive spot from the point of view of archaeology, anthropology and history. This town dates from as long ago as the Late Minoan Period, around the year 1500 BC.

Mirtos – a traditional Greek village

Mirtos is a very attractive traditional Greek village located within Crete, at about 15 from Ierapetra. This town is considered the most southern city in all Europe and has a steady amount of inhabitants of about 700, although the amount of people in the town tends to increase during summer. There is a wide amount of activities available for tourists in this destination in such a way that, despite of its small size and apparent tranquility, they could find many exciting things to do.

The mountainous Viannos

Viannos is a mountainous area situated in Crete, at about 40 kilometers from Ierapetra and 70 kilometers from Iraklion.
