Skopelos – and island and a municipality

Skopelos is an island and a municipality located in the central area of the Sporades archipelago of Greece. This town is characterized by an outstanding natural beauty, mainly provided by its unique forests and beaches. It is also interesting to know that it has a port, the Port of Skopelos, which is located towards the northeastern area of the island, in the Town of Skopelos also known as Chora.

The small island of Skiathos

Skiathos is a small island of about 5500 inhabitants located within the Sporades archipelago and next to Skopelos, in Greece. Skiathos has a variety of attractive spots spread throughout its territory and many interesting things to do at its two main cities: Koukounaries and Skiathos Town.

Patitiri – capital of Alonissos

Patitiri is the capital town of Alonissos’ island, located within the Greek archipelago of the Sporades. Besides this, Patitiri is also the administrative and commercial center of the island, and is built in such a way that it seems to be a wall that surrounds it. This town is very interesting from a variety of points of view and is used to receive many tourists who wish to relax at beautiful beaches, as well as others who wish to meet historical and folkloric places, or others who wish to find exciting activities and a lively night life.

Halkida – the capital of Evia

The city of Halkida, also known as Chalkida, Chalkis, Halkis, and Chalcida, is the capital of the island of Evia, the second largest island in Greece after Crete. This destination offers a wide variety of attractions, and is without any doubt one of the first places visitors who go to Evia should meet.

Evia – a large and beautiful island

The island of Evia, also called Evoia or Euboia is a very beautiful and large island located within the Sporades of Greece. This island, the second largest in Greece after Crete, is often considered to be one of the most appealing destinations in the country due to the great combination of attractions it offers.

Samothraki, the Thracian Samos

Samothraki is the southernmost destination in which tourists could have a vacation in Greece when going to the region known as the north eastern Aegean Islands. The name of this island, Samothraki or Samothrace, has remained unchanged through the pass of time and can be translated as the Thracian Samos.

The archaeological Pythagorio

The town of Pythagorio is the capital of the municipality of same name and is a spot of great archaeological interest due to the fact that it is located where the ancient city of Samos was. This town can be found towards the eastern area of Chora, at about 13 kilometres from the actual capital city of Samos, and close to other attractive spots such as Piraeus, Marathokambos, and Karlovassi.

Myrina, the capital of Lemnos

Myrina, also known as Kastro, is the capital city of the island of Lemnos, in the region of the north eastern Aegean Islands. This city has the main port of the island and is home of about 4.500 inhabitants, most of whom base their resources on activities related to fishing and tourism. Myrina, like all Lemnos, is a very attractive destination where tourists can find a wide variety of activities to do and many interesting places to visit in such a way that no matter what their preferences are, they will surely be able to have a nice time.
