Limnos, in the prefecture of Lesbos

Limnos, also known as Lemnos, is a big island that is part of the north eastern Aegean Islands and belongs to the Prefecture of Lesbos. This island has a territory of approximately 150 square miles or 480 km2, most of which is composed by mountainous landscapes mixed with some green spots and valleys as well as a very attractive coastline and beautiful beaches.

This island has a territory of approximately 1650 km2 and a population of about 91.000 inhabitants. This island has had different names throughout its history, such as for example, Nikaria or Doliche, and its actual name derives from the mythological son of Daedalus who is said to have fallen into the sea of this destination.

The port town of Evdilos

Evdilos is a port town in the island of Icaria, within the Greek region of the north eastern Aegean Islands. This town is different from most of the other spots visitors can meet in Icaria and the other surrounding islands due to the fact that its origins only date from around the year 1830.
