Limnos, in the prefecture of Lesbos

Limnos, also known as Lemnos, is a big island that is part of the north eastern Aegean Islands and belongs to the Prefecture of Lesbos. This island has a territory of approximately 150 square miles or 480 km2, most of which is composed by mountainous landscapes mixed with some green spots and valleys as well as a very attractive coastline and beautiful beaches.

The large Lesvos

Lesvos is the third largest island tourists could find when they travel to the north eastern Aegean Islands for a trip to Greece. This island has a territory of approximately 1650 km2 and a population of about 91.000 inhabitants. Around 30.000 of the island’s inhabitants live in the capital city called Mytilene while the other 60.000 live in other towns such as, for example, Plomari, Kalloni, Ayassos, Molyvos, Gera Villages, and Eressos.

The port town of Evdilos

Evdilos is a port town in the island of Icaria, within the Greek region of the north eastern Aegean Islands. This town is different from most of the other spots visitors can meet in Icaria and the other surrounding islands due to the fact that its origins only date from around the year 1830.
